Prior to leaving the United States our team held a school supply drive where we were able to provide notebooks, pens, pencils, markers, chalk, and more so that the school could sustain itself for the remainder of the year. The headmaster appreciated the fact
he did not have to allocate major parts of his limited budget to expendable supplies.
We had the opportunity to spend 2017 with the young Loweh. Unfortunately he passed away later that year due to a curable sickness. The Global Partnerships Team has created a fund in his honor. In April 2018 Lahweh’s family was presented with a
donation for a proper burial and tombstone.
A group of women from our team were encouraged to start a fund for underrepresented women who seek to start their own business. The monies collected were allocated to three women to purchase a container and start their own store.
